Can I use retinol with other active ingredients?

Yes, but with care. Retinol works best when paired with the right ingredients like: Niacinamide: Calms and strengthens the skin barrier—great combo. Hyaluronic Acid: Adds hydration and reduces dryness.

Avoid pairing it with:

Vitamin C: Can be irritating when used at the same time. Use Vitamin C in the morning, and retinol at night. AHAs/BHAs (like glycolic or salicylic acid): Can increase sensitivity. If using both, alternate nights or use one in the AM and retinol in the PM.

How often should I use retinol?

Start with 2–3 nights a week. As your skin builds tolerance, you can increase to every other night or nightly. Always follow with moisturizer.

Should I moisturize after using retinol?

Absolutely. Retinol can be drying, especially in the beginning. Use a gentle, nourishing moisturizer after applying retinol.

Can I use retinol during the day?

It’s best used at night. Retinol can make your skin more sensitive to sunlight, so always wear SPF daily—even on cloudy days.

How long until I see results?

You might notice smoother skin in 4–6 weeks, but for texture and tone improvements, give it around 12 weeks. Consistency is key.

Sensitive skin—can I still use retinol?

Yes! Try a low concentration (0.2%-0.3%) and buffer with moisturizer. Start slow and see how your skin reacts.
