A. Encapsulated Retinol can be defined as new-age Retinol which is milder than traditional Retinol yet more effective. The active is captured in a capsule or in a carrier. A. Even though our product is mild & devoid of any harmful chemicals, we recommend consulting a doctor before adding it to your skincare routine.

Q. Can I use this Retinol Serum under my eyes?
A. No! We do not recommend using this retinol serum under your eyes. For your under eye area, we already have an eye cream that is also infused with Retinol+Caffeine to fight your under-eye puffiness, dark circles & fine lines+wrinkles.
Q. Can I use this serum in the morning?
A. No. This serum is only for your PM routine as retinol makes your skin sensitive to the sun. Also, make sure to apply sunscreen the next day to prevent skin damage & redness caused by UVA & UVB rays.
Q. Can I use my Hyaluronic Acid Serum with this serum?
A. Yes! Hyaluronic acid is known for its ability to pull moisture into the skin. While hyaluronic acid will hydrate the skin, retinol will help the skin renew itself more rapidly. This pairing is also great to minimise any side effects such as redness, drying, or peeling.
Q. What is the right age to use this serum?
A. If you are 24+, we recommend adding this serum to your PM routine to help improve early signs of ageing while also delaying the appearance of more advanced signs of ageing.
Q. Can I use my regular vitamin C serum with retinol serum?
A. No! Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant that protects the skin by neutralising free radicals. While using both actives together may enhance the anti-ageing routine, it will cause severe skin irritation, redness & breakouts, thus leaving you with compromised skin barrier. However, you can use Vitamin C Serum in the morning & Retinol Serum at night.
Q. How often should I use this serum?
A. Our serum is suitable for daily use, even for retinol beginners. Use it once a day, in your PM routine.
Q. Is it suitable for sensitive skin?
A. Even though our retinol serum is made for all skin types, if your skin is on the sensitive side, we recommend patch testing before just to be on the safe side in case any irritation occurs. To patch test, apply a small amount of product to your inner arm and wait 24/48 hours to see if any irritation occurs. Otherwise, you can try our Cica+10% Niacinamide Serum or Cica+2% Salicylic Acid Serum, both of which are great for sensitive skin.
Q. Will it be suitable for my acne-prone skin?
A. Our Retinol Serum is more geared towards anti-ageing than acne or breakouts. For acne breakouts, try our Cica+10% Niacinamide Serum or Cica+2% Salicylic Acid Serum, both of which are great for oily, acne-prone & sensitive skin.
Q. How long will it take to show the results?
A. When used regularly in your PM routine, the results will show up within 4 weeks.
